La « Corne de rhinocéros indienne » a été réalisée en 1732 par Johann Gottlieb Kirchner d'après la gravure sur cuivre d'Abraham de Bryn datant de 1583, en porcelaine de Meissen. Les maîtres de l'art du modelage ont fait revivre un « petit » rhinocéros à une corne pour sa grande apparition à l'occasion du 300e anniversaire de la manufacture de Meissen. Édition limitée à 100 exemplaires.
