I was a bit nervous about hand-washing such an ornate bowl, but the swan detail is crisp and lovely, not fragile-looking at all. It’s the perfect size for a side salad for two.

The porcelain has a wonderful weight to it, not too heavy but feels solid. I used it for a fruit salad and the white glaze really made the colors pop. It’s exactly what I wanted for serving sides.

I was a bit nervous about spending this much on a bowl, but the sculpted swan handle detail is so intricate it feels like a tiny museum piece. It’s not just a serving dish, it adds a real conversation starter to the table.
