Vase "Ägyptische Landschaften", H 41 cm

I was a bit worried the historical scenes might look kitschy, but the detail on the pyramids is actually museum-quality. It’s a real conversation piece on my mantel, and the 1774 origin makes it feel special.

The hand-painted scenes with the pyramids are even more striking in person—the detail feels like a tiny window into 1774. It's tall enough to anchor my mantelpiece without overwhelming it, and knowing it's a limited piece adds a nice sense of occasion.

The hand-painted detail on this 41 cm vase is truly remarkable, bringing the ancient Egyptian landscape to life on my mantel. It’s a beautiful, limited piece that arrived safely, though the colors are slightly less vibrant in person than I expected from the photos.
