Wandschale, Ø 49 cm

The colors on this piece are so vivid that the hummingbirds practically jump off the wall. The wings look like they’re in mid-flutter, and the begonia flowers have a nice glossy finish that catches the light.

The hummingbirds look like they’re mid-air, the metallic sheen on their wings catching every bit of daylight from across the room. The detail on the begonia blooms is so crisp you’d think it was painted yesterday, and at 49 cm it anchors my whole entryway wall without overpowering it.

The way the light hits the metallic paint on the hummingbirds makes them look like they're actually shimmering mid-flight. The details on the begonia flowers are incredibly sharp for a ceramic piece this size. It's become the centerpiece of my hallway.
