Korbvase "Vogelschwarm", H 46 cm

The hand-painted birds are so delicate and lively, they seem to perch on the basket weave forever. At 46 cm tall, it’s a substantial centerpiece that draws the eye from across the room.

The silhouette feels authentically mid-18th-century, but the bird motif gives it a fresh, lively character. I’ve had mine on the shelf for a week and keep catching new details in the hand-painting. Limited edition status is a nice touch.

The hand-painted bird motif is incredibly delicate and detailed up close; it makes the vase feel like a museum piece rather than just decor. Even with its substantial 46 cm height, the wicker basket design keeps it from feeling too heavy or formal in the room.
