Vase, Seerosenteich, H 19,5 cm

The porcelain itself has a lovely weight to it, not too heavy but feels substantial. I placed it on my windowsill and the hand-painted colors catch the afternoon light beautifully.

The tiny water lily blossoms painted on the sides are so delicate they almost look real. It's much smaller in person than I expected from the photos, but the hand-painted detail makes up for it.

The hand-painted lily pond detail is so delicate that I keep noticing new brushstrokes each time I walk past it. It fits perfectly on my sideboard and catches the afternoon light beautifully.
