花瓶，手斧系列，大，「藍色潟湖」，高30公分

The hand-carved look of this "Blue Lagoon" vase gives it a prehistoric-meets-modern feel that draws attention from every angle. At 30 cm tall, it holds a generous bunch of tulips without tipping over. The craftsmanship is exactly what I hoped for from a piece designed by Maria Walther.

The blue glaze really shifts depending on the light, which makes the sculpted hand-axe shape feel almost alive on the shelf. It’s a hefty 30 cm piece, so make sure you have room, but it’s a striking centerpiece even without flowers in it.

The sculpted hand-axe form is surprisingly comfortable to hold, and the way the deep blue glaze pools in the crevices creates a mesmerizing lagoon effect. It’s a true statement piece that makes even a simple branch look intentional.
