小配菜盤，「日本花卉與田野紋飾」，造型「新切口」，長33公分

I was a bit worried the "Neuer Ausschnitt" shape might look odd on the table, but it actually makes the Japanese floral ornament pop beautifully. The porcelain feels substantial and the limited-edition detail gives it a special touch.

The chessboard pattern is even more striking in person, with the blue and white creating a lovely contrast. It sits beautifully on the table and feels substantial without being too heavy. A wonderful addition to my dinnerware.

I wasn't sure if the 33 cm length would be too small for a salad bowl, but it's actually perfect for serving sides. The hand-painted checkered pattern looks even more intricate under natural light.
