Schale "Fischmalerei", Ø 44 cm

The way the light catches these painted fish makes them look like they're swimming—I caught myself staring at the bowl for a good five minutes. The glossy finish on the white base adds such a clean, elegant contrast.

The white background really makes the painted fish pop like they're swimming in crystal-clear water, and the 44 cm diameter is the perfect size for a centerpiece. I catch myself glancing at it every time I walk past, expecting the fish to actually move.

The way the fish seem to float above the white ceramic surface is mesmerizing — I keep expecting them to start swimming. It's a real conversation piece on my shelf.
