Der auf naturalistische Darstellung bedachte Künstler Max Esser hielt die Bewegung dieser Möwe bereits in seiner Vogel-Figur von 1937 fest. 2021 wird dieses Modell nun eindrucksvoll handbemalt. Mit der zurückhaltenden und zauberhaften Staffage verleiht die Porzellanmalerin Kerstin Laschinski dem Werk das gewisse Etwas.
