I was worried he'd look too chaotic, but the bunt staffiert outfit is actually quite charming and well-painted. This little conductor really does capture that feeling of trying to wrangle a crazy orchestra.

The conductor outfit is so detailed for a 10 cm piece, right down to his baton and the little smirk on his face. I set him on the shelf next to the other clowns from this series, and he really does look like he's trying to boss them around. That 1993 design still holds up.
