Der Speiseteller mit Hummermotiv ist von den Entwürfen Otto Eduard Voigts inspiriert, der Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts arbeitete. Die kobaltblaue Farbe des Geschirrs wird durch eine Ton-in-Ton-Maltechnik handbemalt, die jahrelange Erfahrung und Präzision erfordert.
