Diese Designer-Skulptur ist an eines der Krinolinen-Kunstwerke von Kaendler angelehnt. Antemanns Figur-Version des Handkusses lässt sich als Heiratsantrag betrachten, wenn man den kleinen floralen Ring an Finger der Dame als Hinweis interpretiert. Vorlage ihrer Designer-Skulptur waren die Porzellanfiguren des 18. Jahrhunderts, welche sie modern auf ihre ganz eigene Art interpretierte. Obwohl das Frühstück zu dieser Zeit häufig nur aus einer Tasse dicker, heißer Schokolade bestand, entschloss sich die Künstlerin, dieser Figur ein zeitgenössischeres deutsches Frühstück zu kredenzen und fügte Wurst, Käse, Brot und Früchte hinzu. Ausdrucksstarke, erzählende Kunstwerke dieser Art sind Antemanns Kennzeichen.
