Die Form "Wellenspiel" wurde von 1993 bis 1996 entwickelt und stammt von der Meissen-Künstlerin Sabine Wachs. Das Relief, welches von erfahrenen Malern der Manufaktur handbemalt wird, entwickelte der Plastiker Jörg Danielczyk.
