Category: August Gaul

Abigail ★★★★★

The weight and cool feel of the white ceramic really anchor the piece, and the lion’s abstract pose captures that classic August Gaul spirit perfectly. I’m glad I finally added it to my shelf.

Christopher ★★★★★

I placed this on my desk and find myself staring at it more than I expected—the way the matte white surface contrasts with the angular, broken lines really captures the animal's spirit. It’s a solid 31 cm presence without feeling heavy, just the right scale for a shelf.

Charlotte ★★★★★

The way the light catches the broken surfaces of the mane gives this little lion so much life, it's hard to believe it's a static sculpture. Really captures Gaul's modernist take on animal forms.
