Pferd Tierkind, H 18 cm

The hand-painted finish captures every detail of the pony's tired expression, making it feel like a tiny sculpture from another era. The heavy, grounded body and short legs give it a quiet charm that looks lovely on my shelf.

This little pony has a surprisingly heavy, solid feel in the hand, and the subdued, weary expression is exactly as described. The hand-painted details on the mane and hooves are delicate and precise, not sloppy at all.

The hand-painted finish is what sold me—every shade on the mane and body feels deliberate, not mass-produced. It’s a limited piece that carries a real sense of history from the 1920s. My shelf’s better for it.
