Amour sur cygne

I’ve been admiring this figurine for weeks, and the porcelain feels incredibly delicate yet solid in hand—the child’s pose on the swan is so lively. It’s a small piece, but the craftsmanship from the original 1738 model really shows in the flowing lines of the swan’s neck.

The detail on this Kaendler piece is stunning—the way the child's expression is captured in the porcelain feels almost alive. It arrived carefully packed and looks even more delicate and refined than the product photos suggested. Truly a beautiful addition to my collection.

I was a bit nervous about ordering porcelain online, but the way Kaendler captured that sea-creature child's playful pose is just incredible in person. The piece has a real weight to it that makes it feel museum-quality, and the swan's smooth, glossy glaze catches the light beautifully.
