Affenkapelle Sängerin, H 12,5 cm

The little porcelain monkey singer arrived perfectly packaged, and the hand-painted details on her tiny face and dress are remarkably fine for such a small figurine. It’s a charming piece that fits beautifully on my shelf next to the other musicians.

I hadn't realized how small 12.5 cm really is until I unboxed it—the singer monkey is perfect for a bookshelf. The porcelain feels delicate and the painted expression on her face is full of character.

I was hesitant at first because of the price, but the porcelain's glossy finish and the delicate pose of the singer are absolutely stunning in person. It fits perfectly on my shelf next to my other vintage figurines.
