Hund Russischer Windhund, T 42 cm

The porcelain has a wonderful weight to it, and the dog's calm expression feels very regal. I was most impressed by the intricate green and gold base, it really anchors the piece on my shelf.

The hand-painted green and gold detailing on the base is even more intricate than the photos suggested, perfectly framing the dog's poised posture. The porcelain feels substantial without being overly heavy, and the smooth finish on the windhund's coat catches the light beautifully.

The green-and-gold base is even more intricate in person, and the dog’s calm, majestic pose fits perfectly on my shelf. The porcelain feels wonderfully smooth and substantial, exactly the quality I hoped for.
