Hund Dachshund, Bunt staffiert, 19 cm

The way the dachshund’s coat is painted captures that wiry, rough texture perfectly, it’s a real testament to Jarl’s eye for detail. I also love how the glaze gives his eyes a little spark, making him feel almost alert and ready to play.

The little dachshund has such a lively expression it feels like it might wag its tail—the sculptor really understood dog behavior. The paintwork is delicate and the finish is smooth, exactly the kind of craftsmanship I expected from a Jarl piece.

The way the wood grain subtly shows through the dark paint gives this dachshund a lifelike texture I wasn't expecting. It's a nice, solid piece that feels like real art, not a mass-produced trinket.
