Goethe, Weiß, Biskuit, H 32 cm

The detail in the folds of his long coat is remarkably crisp, and the 32 cm height gives him a commanding presence on the shelf. I can’t stop admiring the dignified, classic pose—it feels like a true piece of literary history.

The porcelain has a subtle, almost ivory warmth that photos don't capture, and the folds in his coat feel remarkably crisp. It's smaller than I imagined for a bust this detailed, but it sits perfectly on my bookshelf.

I've had my eye on a classic Goethe bust for a while, and the dignified, timeless pose of this piece is exactly what I was hoping for. The matte finish of the Biskuitporzellan gives it a wonderfully soft, antique look that fits perfectly on my bookshelf.
