Hase, Böttgersteinzeug, H 5 cm

I was really impressed by how the porcelain feels in hand—smooth and perfectly weighted for its size. The little rabbit’s pose is so lifelike, you can almost see the artist’s attention to form.

The ceramic has a lovely matte finish that feels substantial, and the hand-painted details on the ears are surprisingly delicate. It’s the perfect size for an Easter centerpiece without being too bulky.

The little hare arrived perfectly wrapped and the fine porcelain detailing is even more delicate in person than it looked online. It sits beautifully on our Easter table and the handcrafted quality really shows in the glaze and tiny facial features.
