Vogel Haubenmeise, Weiß, H 16 cm

I placed this little crested tit on my windowsill for the morning light, and the porcelain’s subtle white glaze catches it beautifully. The 16 cm height is perfect for a small shelf, and the craftsmanship on the feathers is incredibly detailed.

The porcelain feels wonderfully smooth and heavy in hand, and the subtle white glaze really makes the feathered details pop. It’s perched perfectly on my shelf now, adding a quiet, elegant touch to the room.

Couldn’t resist the 16 cm size — it’s compact enough for a bookshelf but still commands attention on the mantel. The porcelain has that smooth, cool finish you expect from Meissen quality, though I wish the base were slightly heavier for stability.
